Happy Fathers Day

Happy fathers day to all the fathers out there.

Well this is one fathers day that there are no waves, there were last year, but cant always ask for holiday swell, christmas and new years almost always seem to be the only holidays where for some odd reason there are waves. Unless of course it is halloween '91 but that I think is swell alot of people would like to forget. On a better note, the dredge is in avalon. This is either going to make or break the sandbars, it usually makes one's in the best places. thye have cleared the way for the T.I. surprise(which if you don't know about only breaks on long period south swell's) and with the dredge finally clearing the sandbar that was blocking the swell, it should be going off this summer!!!! enjoy this day dad's mine will be a little somber because Sydney has come down with a bug, I get to spend the day with her, but we have to take it easy..... i dont mind it gives me a little down time.

Oil america's evil

I'm sure as everyone knows, Bp's oil spill may affect this area in the near future...

As Nj surfers prepare for the upcoming summer/fall swell, the eminent threat of having our season cut short by the sneaky,crooked,backwards corperate giants who base there well being on monitary gain, not the later repercusions of a disaster like this. Makes me sick!!!! THE WHOLE REASON THIS HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE IS BECAUSE, BP WAS MORE CONCERNED WITH SPENDING MONEY TO GET THE OIL OUT OF THE GROUND FOR AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE, AND THEN NOT PROPERLY MAINTAINING THE WELL ONCE IT WAS DONE..... gives you a great feeling to know that when they put there heads down at night there not worried about there livelyhood, the welfare of other or the impact this kind of mess creates. I want to be able to surf in a clean ocean, but at what risk? all the surfer's in the florida,alabama,miss,texas,and louis.(not sure if there a large surf population there) have to now watch the shores,and wonder when it is coming, or when is it going to get better.

To be a surfer is to know the feeling you get when you paddle out catch a wave and feel the feeling you get from it, it is almost like a drug... and to take that away from people because of Bp's stupidity and greed. they may want to write checks to the local surfers so they can go on a trip and get there fix... that is all for now , just felt like I had to ge that out of my system.

this whole mess, has me pissed off, concerned, my thoughts are with all the people affected by this.....

IS THERE A REASON FOR THIS SEASON

SUMMER IS BY FAR ONE OF MY FAVORITE TIMES OF YEAR(SANS FALL WHEN THE WAVES ARE REALLY FIRING) BEING ABLE TO GET OUTSIDE SOAK IN SOME SUN, SURF SMALL WAVES, BARBAQUE(THANKS TO MY LOVELY WIFE) AND JUST AVOID THE TOURISTS AT ALL EXPENSE. LIFE OUT IN SUNNY CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, EVEN BEING SO CLOSE TO THE BEACH TOWNS ALLOWS FOR SOME PIECE AND QUIET. AFTER LIVING ON AND ISLAND, IN ONE OF THE LARGEST CLUMB OF RESORT TOWNS. i FIND THAT BEING ABLE TO SIT OUT ON THE PORCH AND HEAR NOTHING BUT PLAYING KIDS AND CRICKETS IS THE BEST NOISE EVER.... EAGLES CHANTS IN JULY MAKE ME WANT TO THROW UP IN MY MOUTH A LITTLE BIT, THAT IS SOMETHING I DO NOT AND WILL NOT EVER MISS...... SO THINGS ARE GOOD MY TRUSTY ASSISTANT IS TRYING TO HELP ME TYPE. THE LAWN IS FINALLY MOWED( A COUPLE TIMES SINCE LAST POST) STILL WAITING FOR THAT ONE GOOD THUNDERSTORM!!!!! A SHOOTING STAR THAT LASTS MORE THAN 1 SECOND, AND A RACOON( i SEE THEM DEAD ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. MY SIMPLE SUMMER WISHES AND ALSO GLASSY BARRELS. TALK TO EVERYONE SOON
